Never too late
Hi guys ~ im back !
Went to the Titanic Exhibition (as you can see from th picture above) on Sunday, 29 April.
It was an AWESOME experience.
First boarded mrt to bayfront Thn walked to the Art Science Museum.
Took our tickets and went in. Theres this machine where you have to scan your tickets before going in. It was totally cool.
After we walked over the machine we took a lift to the second floor and proceeded on to the titanic exhibit.
Surprisingly there was lots of people even though we came super early.
Queued up.
While queuing up, a women came up to us and gave us a "boarding pass"
Its basically a paper , and theres name of a character and the cabin class and all.
Not characters from the show but real life people who did board the ship , Titanic, during then.
After queuing for a few minutes we went in the gallery, took a picture at the entrance first thn proceeded on to the galleries.
As photography is strictly not allowed, i didnt take any pictures.
Theres lots of interesting artefacts in there. It was so awesome.
Theres this board saying how long it took to build titanic and others ship other thn titanic.
It took years to build titanic and there was other ship such as olympic and britannic. interesting yea?
After a few galleries we came to this gallery where the ship sink. And titanic sink because of hitting an iceberg. At that place, there were hundreds of iceberg. it wasnt a surprise that titanic would hit one.
And at the gallery, there was a huge piece of ice where you can touch, it was super cold.
And we saw the cabins, the grand staircase and all.
After which theres a specific gallery where theres a board saying who was saved and who was lost during the sinking of titanic.
Thats when you should thake out your 'boarding pass" and look for your character's name.
I survived. or should i say my character survived.
If you were there, for me, i could feel how tragic titanic was. Imagine you on a ship and it was sinking, would you freak out? I felt sad for those people who were there.
" I have a strong feeling that we wont reach America in that ship " -Forgotten who .
This quote was stated on a wall. I dont know why but this quote gave me a strong and weird feeling.
Overall, i really think it was an awesome exhibit. If i could i would go once more. No regrets going (: .
And here's some pictures took from my facebook ( www.facebook.com/lershinnlala ) :
